needs our help! here is his request:'I purchased Manga Studio EX 4 for the express purpose of using digital screentones to add depth and shading for my mini-comics. While the interface is simple enough, I must confess to being overwhelmed by the sheer number of tones available in the software. Can anyone point me towards some tutorials/resources that address how to pick tones that look sharp/print well? '

Firstly, sorry this group has been so quiet for so long, been really busy, but now it's time for a competition!
I know it's near the end of summer but this competition is still going to have a summer theme, anyway, on with the rules:

The theme is Ice Cream
Rules:
:bulletred: The image must contain screentone if it has no screentone or no obvious use of screentone it will be declined, this is after all a screentone based group.

to be honest I had Manga studio 4 and found it hard to understand then I moved to ex 5 they really did a great job with it on this ex 5 is just like clip studio well from what I understand it is clip studio. Anyways I felt that Manga studio 4 was not that great to be honest however that is not to say you can't make great tones inside this program So from what I am understanding you have already tried to print stuff and the tones do not come out the way you want right? Do the tones seem fine before you print out the page? Are you Merging the Layers and then printing them out or are you printing them out right from the program it's self and what resolution do you have your pictures set at?
